Almost a hundred studio hours and half a brie cake later

Added to that a, funny enough, to me somewhat nostalgic guest performance by Sebastian Ring in his studio in June. Only a bit of guiro scratching, string fingering and, most importantly, hammond organing and all song tracks are left to cram in before mixing takes off in Tobo next week. Seven days in the heart of Stockholm, running back and forth between the control room and the studio, joy and frustration in a glorious blend. If it wasn’t for the warm kindness of Ninotchka, who sat behind the desk recording my last efforts minutes before the building’s alarm was activated, I wouldn’t have made it through with the last day of recording (there’s some drama for you all, or you three). As with the last record, I’ve been fortunate to have some strong talents making their most individual marks.
