Chapters of 2026

Life and spring orbits around a little baby girl, Bim, six months-old. She’s a book of her own rather than a chapter. I sing songs for Bim and sometimes she babbles along. Songwriting fills the musical and lyrical chapters of 2026. I currently juggle a dozen-something songs, day-dream in colors and shapes. The dreams sometime substantialize into ideas worth keeping. I find this to be a fleeting form av tapestry inseparable from Bim, from my thoughts of her and my family, my friends and relations, past and present, matters of the heart. When Bim’s asleep I sometimes take the fragments and toy with ideas. Sometimes I record them on my portable Tascam, on a more regular basis they become voice memos and scribbles in my notebook.

I have a feeling that the next album will be a mixture between recordings from my Tascam and more hi-fi stuff from the @marasounds studio (this is my way of telling you guys, by way of a post no one will read!). I strive to make the working process of a new album different from the last one. Presently I’m interested in sharing the production work with someone, get some interplay idea-wise that I haven’t really had before in my life.

Here’s a pic of what I think is a very cozy work station. I’ve loved changing from the digital work place to a physical board, getting my hands to work rather than (hurting) my eyes, it’s been very stimulating. And on that note, a message for you tiny bunch of readers that I will be at best a flickering shade on social media this year while working with things a find more meaningful. But be sure I’ll flick by quickly if you get in touch.
